The first stone of the "Campus 2022" of Sciences Po has been laid on 8 July 2019.
Designed by W&A, with the architects Moreau Kusunoki, Sasaki, and Pierre Bortolussi, chief architect of France's historic monument, this very unique project, by its location, in the heart of one of the most beautiful district of Paris, as well as its ambition "will make [Campus 2022] one of Europe’s finest venues for study, teaching, research… and building the future", said Frédéric Mion, Director of Sciences Po.

Flatmates has just opened!
Designed by W&A, this huge co-living space is about to (the biggest in Europe) house up to 600 entrepreneurs from all STATION F’s startup programs just 10 minutes away from campus.
Made of three buildings, 100 apartments and 600 rooms, Flatmates offers them a full experience with common spaces, including a café and grocery shop (that are open to public), a gym, a laundromat, a huge lounge (where they will be able to play music, watch films or cook with their friends), and an event space.
19/06/21 - Laurent Wauquiez, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, has laid the first stone of the future Digital Region Campus in Charbonnières-les-Bains near Lyon, with the aim of becoming the first digital region in Europe. 2,000 students are expected for academic year 2020 in these new buildings of a surface of 10,000 sqm, within a 3ha park.
This both architectural and landscape campus is designed around a large central garden at the axis of an iconic building and thus takes advantage of the qualities of the site and its exceptional surroundings.
Servier, an independent international pharmaceutical company, has laid the first stone for its future Research Institute at the Paris-Saclay cluster (Paris, France), designed by W&A.
This highly ambitious project is designed around green spaces and a central harnessing element, a symbol of the unity and dynamic nature of the Servier group. This crystalline circular structure interacts with slender sculpted spaces to promote conversation, create synergies and drive real innovation’, says Jean Michel Wilmotte.
From June 16 to November 24, Wilmotte Foundation Gallery welcomes “Venice Wood Water” exhibition by South Korean artist Lee Bae during the Venice Art Biennale 2019.
For Jean-Michel Wilmotte, there is a beautiful resonance between Venice and the work of Lee Bae: his assemblies of carbonized bundles of wood, resembling the columns of Venetian palaces, and his large splashes of black, evoking the waters of the lagoon, spread across immaculate wax surfaces.

Every year, the Prix Versailles distinguishes the most beautiful architectural creations around the world. The Prix Versailles continues to pursue its mission of making architecture and design into tools for sustainable development with its various components: ecology (green economy) and society and culture (purple economy).
In 2019, 71 winners were named in the six Prix regions: Africa and West Asia – Central America, the South and the Caribbean – North America – Central Asia and the Northeast – South Asia and the Pacific – Europe.
In the "Hotels" category for Europe region, Hôtel Lutetia was awarded. The hotel’s refurbishment and interior design was entrusted to W&A agency.

May 24, 2019 - The ceremony of foundation stone for the construction of a 5 * hotel in Menton was held in the presence of Alain PAGET, Chairman of the FINAREAL Supervisory Board, Alexis PAGET, FINAREAL General Manager, Jean Claude GUIBAL, Mayor of Menton, Jean-Michel WILMOTTE, Architect of the project and Jean MUS, Landscape architect. Marriott, the American hotel group, which is specialized in luxury hotels, has been chosen to operate the building. The future hotel will include a 1000 sqm spa, a 300-seat restaurant and 4 seminar rooms.
Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the south and the foothills of the Alps to the north, the project is an extension of the topography of the Park of Pian until the sea.

The new regional headquarters of the Crédit Agricole in Savoie, in the north of the city of Chambéry, has been inaugurated after two years for the construction.
Located on a 24,000 sqm site which has been moved to a huge landscaped park, this 9,300 sqm made of wood, glass and natural stone provides exceptionnal working conditions, with beautiful viws on the surrounding moutains.
Inauguration of the new parisian showcase of Italian gastronomy "That’s Life"!
That’s Life, the new parisian showcase of Italian gastronomy opened on 11 April 2019, in the heart of the Marais district.
On an area of 460 sq.m, stories of Little Italy, illustrated by plenty of old pictures in black & white, mingle with representations of the Palladian architecture, around both raw and precious elements, like table plates in black polished marble, brass, mirrors, the stair in gilt metal, or the alcove in canvas.
Located at the entrance of the fishing and yacht harbour, fronting the bay of Quiberon and the protected lighthouse, the "Hôtel du phare" is hosted in a stone building built in 1880, after the traditionnal constuctions of the island.
Refurbished and extended by W&A, the hotel hosts a restaurant room and a bar on the groundfloor, a restaurant room with a terrace on the first floor, and seasonal housing on the first and second floors.

On Wednesday, March 27, the new headquarters of Crédit Agricole Aquitaine was awarded a Silver Pyramid, Regional Grand Prix of the Federation of Real Estate Developers of the region of New Aquitaine, in the Real Estate category.
Inaugurated in December 2018, the project is located in front of the river "La Garonne", between the bridge "Chaban-Delmas" and the "Cité du Vin". This high-tech building is made of brick and anodized steel and articulated around six « houses » between 4 to 6 six floors high.
It is configured around three functional areas and includes a 7,200 sqm professional area, a 1,600 sqm of public area (hall, meeting spaces, 360-seats auditorium) with 2,400 sqm of terraces and 1,000 sqm of plantings, a company restaurant, or 250 parking spaces...

March 25, 2019 - The three winning teams of the international call for ideas launched by the Chartreuse de Neuville Association, in partnership with the Wilmotte Foundation, were invited to Paris in the offices of Wilmotte & Associés agency to receive their prize, in the presence of Jean-Michel Wilmotte (Architect and founder of Wilmotte & Associés) and Jean-Paul Delevoye (President of the Chartreuse de Neuville Association). Before the award ceremony, each team was invited by Jean-Michel Wilmotte for a working session to help them developing their project as part of the second phase of the competition to be launched by the end of the year.
On March 26, the winners went to Neuville-sous-Montreuil for a private guided tour of the Chartreuse de Neuville.

W&A has been chosen to design a real estate program in the heart of the Dessaix district. This project - both urban, architectural and landscape - is part of the wonderful dynamic of re-conquest of the neighborhood and the enhancing of its architectural heritage initiated by the municipality. It will open the Dessaix district to the city by creating new visual and functional links thanks to "urban seams". With this new residence built around a large garden, Thonon is endowed with a new landmark of city entrance which, in addition, will unify its city center and its new train station.
The story begins in 1947, in Venice, but it was from 1958 that photographers and friends Dino Jarach, Claudio Gallo, Duilio Stigher, Enrico Busato, Celio Scapin and Walter Stefani became known as a group, under the name of CAMERAPHOTO.
Their purpose ? To reflect and immortalize the reality... #nofilter !
From 1947 to 1987, they captured all the events that made the History of the Serenissima, like the visit in 1954 of the circus Togni and its elephants, camels and others animals.
BIG VENICE comes back on this unique event through a selection of orginal shots.
It is to discover from February 17th to May 2nd, 2019 at the Wilmotte Gallery in Venice Galerie.
W&A architectural agency has been chosen by VERRECHIA to design a real estate program in the new district of Rosny-sous-bois, just next to the future subway station Coteaux-Beauclair (line 11). This new program will connect the subway esplanade to the new Coteaux-Beauclair eco-district.
The project will complete the neighbourhood services by providing high-end residential, a sport facility, retail and offices.
After several months of work, the Brasserie of the Lutetia reopened its doors on 4th February 2019.
This new gastronomic landmark of the left bank regains its original volume of 1910 and comprises a mezzanine that hosts a terrace as well as a private dining room.
This is the rebirth of an address with an Art Deco spirit but Mediterraneanas well, being headed now by the 3-stars French Chef Gérald Passedat.
